This is the second attempt at doing the anchors, personally I'm happy with it this time around, I drilled small holes and inserted a paper clip, trimmed it down and filed to the wood. For the other part I used a metal plate, I use these at work on my printing machine and they are strong yet easy to bend and shape, they were painted gold and glued tight around the stock.
I'll do the next one tommrow evening, now I know what I'm doing.:)
